Welcome!!
Looking for a high school science lab?  Karen Garza is offering Biology, Chemistry,
and Human Anatomy & Physiology classes utilizing the Apologia curriculum.
The focus of her teaching is mastery of the material with a deeper understanding
and appreciation of God and of science along with a focus on teamwork amongst
students.
These classes are challenging, but worth the effort.

Texas Regional Science Fair:
Science is the window into the ‘awesomeness’ of our God!

In 1997, the
ICARE home school support group had a vision for students to have a
forum in which to communicate visually and verbally what they learned while
pursuing an in depth study  of an area of science that enabled the student to learn
more about their creator and of His creation.  From this the Northside Science Fair
was birthed, which became the
Texas Regional Science Fair in 2007.

Joey and Karen Garza are the administrators of the fair and extend their invitation to
come and participate.  The fair is open to K-12th grade home school students.

The fair is set for April 2, 2011 at Tomball College Beckendorf Conference Center in
Tomball, Texas.  Make sure to at least come to the public viewing time so you and
your students can learn more about participating and especially to interact with and
encourage the exhibitors.  The viewing time is generally 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm;
however, please visit the web site for the most current information.
O
n February 05, 2011 we will hold our annual Science Fair Workshop for the whole
family to attend.  It is a hands-on time to learn how to put a project together from
beginning to end.  Make sure to follow-up on the science fair web site for details and
how to register!
